Dr. Stacy Furgang always knew she wanted to be a veterinarian. As a small child, she cared for a variety of pets including dogs, cats, horses, birds, small rodents, and reptiles, as well as the occasional injured or stray animal that she found.

Dr. Furgang graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign with a Bachelors of Animal Science in 2001 and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. After moving to South Florida, she started Boca Mobile Vet, a successful house call business providing veterinary care to pets in the home environment.

Dr. Furgang developed a passion for one aspect of home veterinary service, specifically hospice and end of life care. Her calling is to be able to provide for clients the dignified and peaceful passing of a loved one, in the privacy and comfort of their own home.

In 2015, Dr. Furgang relocated to the Ocala, Florida area and started Peaceful Passings Ocala to offer hospice and in home pet euthanasia services to Ocala, FL and the surrounding areas.
